Johnny Cash

Girls, Boys, Autism? That's not the same as burnout. Letdown. Heartbreak. Confusion. Although it may render you, feeling virtually the same, it is only a temporary condition. Don't feel bad. We need to recruit you a Talaban to go on a mission. I shall wear a towel on my head. All thru the airport, Monday. And make shadow puppets on the in-flight movie! . . . Today, guess what? Johnny Cash died! I heard "Peace in the Valley" by his wife, both days I was at Starbucks on Pierson, (*See Below) this week! Also John Ritter died - Heart attack! S

Hello!
Here are some pics I took, yesterday. Back to Starbucks on Pierson for a couple of hours of refining the new sketches. Bughouse fountain is absolutely georgeous, now that summer flowers are in bloom!

I laid out on the rocks at Oak St to try and even up my splotchy tan and white legs and sides! lol More, today. Still defrosting freezer (since last night) - before I go out of town. [visiting Spencer in FLA] Will be thinking of all the little things I need to get done, before then.
Hope your day is productive and FUNNNN!
Love and huggs,
Steve !:@>

Happy Birthnight, Duckysweetie! Just got my pup tucked in - long day of being a Cgo Ambassador, (Official 'Greeter' for City of Cgo.) dancing lessons, tux shopping, an awesome Katherine Payne(sp?) cabaret show at Gentry, then vegetarian dinner at Cgo Diner, then meeting Martha,[my neighbor the actress/director] and cuddling at the Skybox! [My Place]

Wanted to send this pic to the AOL acct - of a memory souvenir I took, today, in honor of you, sweet one! Sweet dreams, love! Steve !:@>

- Ohhhh . . . one more thing, I almost forgot to tell you . . . the song "There'll Be Peace in the Valley" started playing, as I took that snapshot, for this special-edition birthday email! I think it's a June Carter Cash song - it was on a Johnny Cash soundtrack at the cafe! I didn't realize it, until after I took the pic. It was a special moment. For me. But, mainly for you!

Oh, and I'm glad you got to spend birthday dinner with J.T. Very, very cool! Gotta love that! I was getting very teary-eyed this evening, around 10pm at the Kathryn Payne show. Still a little overwhelmed by the utter 'peace' of this day. It has
been simply indescribable.

Clear, sunny, low 80's, breezy - great sketching, remembering you in our 'special place'[Starbucks on Pierson]- PLUS, great time looking forward to seeing my pup. (Week 7 and going strong!)Then an absolutely perfect evening, spent with him, beyond anything I could possibly
describe in mere words. Awesome, spontaneous night, meeting me at Maggiano's to pick up me and my bike (yes, I actually still HAVE it!)stopping by Gentry, on the way from Nordstrom, tux shopping, vegetarian (in honor of my 'no bread' diet this week,) meal at Chicago Diner (by Roscoe.)

Well, one final good birthday night wish - hope you are not feeling older. Just wiser. We don't do "old", remember? lol

Hello Sweetie!
I spent my writing time at a place, remembering someone very special, today . . . Notice the new "wing" [transmitting tower] is in place??? Had some most excellent inspiration, sketching and writing, today, and a flood of many warm (and many, many cold - brrr) memories - at a place you may be familiar with . . .
- Enjoy, Write, Live!
Love and more!
