A Wednesday - Winter of 2004:

- A sort of fraternity or group was planning a big talent contest.

- We were making out the banner and putting the letters and flowers and hanging iton the wall. (It took up the entire left of the wall and had to be "hung" by professionals.)

- We were then out on the porch - when something like a gigantic magnetic wave went over the city. The lights flickered and all the power went out!

- I was concerned about a couple windows not being shut all the way.

- The guy there, said it was OK - but it was getting cold - with no heat!

- We couldn't do our show. So, to make money, they put on a 'Wrestle-mania" type of show.

- But, I had a music act and had to go on the road.

- I was getting ready to "go on" again. This time, I picked up my books and niticed they weren't children's music books. They were more like serious subject matter.

- 2 people (I recognized them) were standing, waiting to go on with me.

- I reached down to grab their (children's music) books - like Sunday School books, but I caught my mistake and said "I'm sorry - old habits!"

- They said "Oh, that's ok. Now you're doing the real service" - like preaching the main sermon - or maybe giving the main music performance - but we both knew it was bigger than a Sunday School class.

- My old co-worker, Annette Macdonald (from Moore), was there discussing taking another week off work with me. Talking about how we were going to get the boss to go for it. One week for 4 months.
